Fred's
Great Home Page.
Hello, Welcome to my Home Page

Since you have taken the time to look, I'll tell you a little about myself and what makes me Tick.....

My name is Frederick Joseph da Silva Wheeler. I am 22, just out of university and I now have my BA. I am considering where I want to go next. I was at Trinity College, Oxford University and was studying the lesser known, but much sought after course of:
Materials Economics and Management.

At the end of which I have a heck of a lot of work experience (particularly with BRITISH STEEL plc) which is always good. The course is also known as MEM because it gets awkward saying it in full all the time.

Materials, Economics and Management, what's that? I hear you cry?

Well, MEM is a combination of the study of materials (such as alloys, ceramics and polymers) with a grounding in micro and macro economic issues topped with managerial issues such as organisational behaviour, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Management Strategy and Business Policy. It is definitely a good three course meal!

I am currently looking for jobs particularly in Business & IT, Logistics, Sales & Marketing. So, if there are any would-be employers reading this ... !

You will have to bear with me, because I am still in the process of constructing this page.

Everything will be made clear,
but in the meantime, if you have any suggestions
please feel free to email me, though no spamming please.
What makes me tick?

One of my main hobbies is sprinting, namely the 100 and 200 metres. Hence the photograph.
That's not me by the way, it is Jesse Owens --- I will try and get a photo of me running though the one I have looks like I am trying to blow out a fire!!

My preferred distance is the 200m, my personal best for the 100m is 11.80sec, which is pretty good and 24.9 for the 200m.
I would really appreciate any helpful comments and ideas about this page. It is still a baby, so you'll have to bear with me, but with a little time and effort, things can progress at a rapid pace. Please feel free to send any useful comments to my email address below.
I thought a couple of pictures would come in handy. I endeavored to find some suitable ones so here they are: a sprinter, a wall, a lake, a mountain and a window, oh and a door.
Some may not be visible yet, they have been giving me a little hassle in resizing and positioning.
